Our award-winning accelerator program is designed to activate and engage the local business community. We support growth within emerging industries and technologies, by allowing better access to resources, providing mentors and extending opportunities for collaboration. The City of Casey recognises that innovation plays a crucial role in sustainable business growth and economic development, and it is our intent to ensure that new ideas are able to flourish and contribute to a strong local economy.

Here are some of the session, events and catch-ups we host:

• Start-up Workshops & Webinars- an opportunity for the Innovation Crowd cohort to take a deep dive on topics such as finance, marketing, legals and much more. Co-hosted by local mentors, these sessions will provide you the foundational learnings for starting and growing a new business. Watch our recordings.
• Networking - Humble Hustle networking events allow both cohort and community to exchange ideas and explore opportunities for collaboration. As the biggest entrepreneur networking event in the South East, the Humble Hustle is a place to find “like minded” folk and share the exciting journey of entrepreneurship.
• Hackathons - intense, one or two day design sprints, culminating in a pitch for a 'winner takes all' prize. Attendees are encouraged to form teams and select challenges that best fit the skills and background of each member. It is an opportunity for our startups to think “laterally” as opposed to “literally” and collaborate with the wider community to build a better future for all.
• Thinktanks - join us as we take a deep dive into some of the biggest challenges faced by our local community. Our Thinktank sessions provide an opportunity for startups to collaborate with local government, local business, academia and thought leaders to uncover new solutions to real world problems.
