Changing perceptions in employment: Report out now!

The City of Casey is committed to working with local job seekers and employers to help identify new pathways to connect jobseekers to local employment opportunities.

Funded by the Victorian Government and delivered by the City of Casey between November 2021 to May 2022, the Changing Perceptions in Employment pilot program was designed to address unemployment issues at a local level in response to growing concerns about skills shortages in specific industries.

The place-based skills and jobs program addresses complex unemployment issues by breaking down pre-conceived ideas held by both jobseekers and employers through clear communications and building strong relationships.
