Council’s pilot project changes unemployment perceptions

Funded by the Victorian Government and delivered by the City of Casey between November 2021 to May 2022, the Changing Perceptions in Employment pilot program was designed to address unemployment issues at a local level in response to growing concerns about skills shortages in specific industries.

The place-based skills and jobs program addresses complex unemployment issues by breaking down pre-conceived ideas held by both jobseekers and employers through clear communications and building strong relationships.

The Changing Perceptions in Employment final report and recommendations will be available in June. Please register your interest in receiving a copy of the report.
