The Bridge Incorporated: Casey Business Awards 2026 - Excellence in Access and Inclusion Finalist

The Bridge in Narre Warren is a not-for-profit employment services provider dedicated to creating inclusive employment opportunities and supporting people facing barriers to work. 

Through the Australian Government's Inclusive Employment Australia program, The Bridge delivers personalised employment services that empower people with disability and other disadvantaged job seekers to build skills, gain confidence and secure sustainable employment. The organisation works closely with local employers, community organisations and training providers across the City of Casey to address workforce needs while creating meaningful pathways to employment. 

Inclusion and accessibility are at the heart of everything The Bridge does. Its offices are designed to be physically accessible, with accessible meeting spaces and options for outreach, virtual appointments and workplace visits to ensure services are delivered in ways that meet individual needs. 

The Bridge fosters an inclusive workplace through equitable recruitment practices, ongoing professional development, disability confidence training, and a culture built on respect, dignity and belonging. 

The organisation's commitment to inclusion is further demonstrated through initiatives such as the award-winning Casey CALD and Youth Project, developed in partnership with local organisations to improve employment opportunities for culturally diverse young people. 

The Bridge regularly evaluates its effectiveness through participant and employer feedback, quality assurance audits, compliance reviews, customer satisfaction measures and employment outcomes. The organisation uses this information to continuously improve its services and ensure every person has equitable access to meaningful employment opportunities.
