Innovate Casey: A Celebration of Sustainable Innovation on 12 June

The City of Casey is inviting residents and local businesses to take part in Innovate Casey, a dynamic event on Wednesday 12 June that will showcase groundbreaking sustainability initiatives aimed at building a greener, smarter, and more connected future for the region.

Taking place at Bunjil Place, Innovate Casey will highlight the many ways in which the local community, industry leaders, and Council are addressing environmental challenges through creative, forward-thinking solutions. With a strong focus on innovation and collaboration, the event is designed to inform, inspire, and engage those interested in climate action, clean technology, and sustainable living.

The event features a packed program of presentations, panel discussions, and networking opportunities. Attendees will have the chance to meet sustainability experts, learn from real-world case studies, and discover practical ways to make a difference.

Business-Focused Sessions Include:

• Waste Smart Business (5:00 – 5:45pm): Be inspired by the innovative ways Casey businesses are reducing waste, lowering operational costs, and embracing more sustainable practices. This session will showcase real-life examples of how going green can also make great business sense.
• Energy Smart Business (6:00 – 7:00pm): Learn how your business can save on electricity bills by adopting smart energy-efficient solutions. Experts will share how technology and simple operational changes can significantly reduce energy waste and improve bottom lines.

   

Light refreshments will be served from 7:00 pm, providing additional time for networking and discussion among community members, local leaders, and sustainability advocates.
