Like many other businesses in their industry, CFM Air Conditioning’s biggest challenge during this past 12 months was to ensure that they had enough staff to provide a high-quality of service to their clients. And to achieve this, they prioritised employing more field staff through unique methods.

They utilised their Diversity Policy to attract new staff of all backgrounds, engaged business mentors and employed more apprentices to future-proof their business, while providing opportunities for all of their staff.

Alongside these methods, they also regularly work to improve their digital presence on both their website and social media platforms, which helps them to showcase their diverse and inclusive workplace, and often celebrate the achievements of their staff. They’re known to also enter those same staff into industry specific awards.

Within the past 12 months, they have employed and provided a four year government training contract, from Box Hill Institute of TAFE, to six first year apprentices – some of whom are already into their second year.
